My Nova 1624-44 lathe has served me very well.
I upgraded the motor to 220v 2hp with VFD making speed control very easy.
Includes 20" bed extension, Hybrid leg kit.
This lathe has 16" over bed and 44" between centers.
Currently 2hp 220v with electronic variable speed as low as 30 rpm.

Can be changed to 110v
$895 local pickup in Gahanna, Ohio

Selling due to upgrading to 22" lathe (Grizzly G0766)

@Jim Woods Did you use the pivot headstock of the Nova much? If not you wont miss it. Just curious, as the Griz slides but doesnt pivot. I have a Galaxi and use the pivot feature and the outrigger quite a bit.

Doug, the Galaxy is a great lathe. I did rotate the headstock on my Nova, usually 20 degrees or so to better turn the inside of a bowl, using the banjo. Never got the outrigger. I can slide the headstock on the toward the end for better access.
