Looking at possibly buying an original Nova scroll chuck,# 709345 that came in a JET box from around the early 1990's. It was made in New Zealand. Anyone have one of these. I have some questions.

1. Will the current 1x8 tpi insert made by Nova fit the chuck?

2. How many tommy bars did it come with?

3. How do you like it?

Thanks.

I have a couple and the one that takes an insert uses the same inserts for the regular line of Nova chucks. I use them all the time. They came with two Tommy Bars and if you take time to learn how to use the they are super fast for chucking and they hold well.
