Vacuum chucks. One big advantage is no need for a vacuum adapter, a flexible hose comes through the headstock shaft and secondly is the cone seal surface. It’s a more refined version of the Bob Leonard Frugal Vacuum Chuck idea.

I got a response from Bob Leonard (Mister Frugal Vacuum). Only typical situations with a one man business and medical issues. Sorry this doesn’t help you @Wayne Anderson. I don’t want to give out Doug’s phone number without his permission. I should hear from Doug in a couple days.
From Bob Leonard “I talked to him 2 weeks ago, at that point he was released to resume walking (slowly). He was hoping to be able to attend SWAT. No go. He is still trying to catch up with orders and is looking to outsource the manufacturing of pieces. I think that is why he let the website lapse. He wants to make sure he has enough inventory to fill orders."

I love and use the Odd-not chucks, and have had a few great conversations with Doug, but his response time to messages on his site and emails has been awful for at least 18 months. I find it infuriating, especially when I want to spend some more money with him.
