I made up these "chuck caddies" to use when I want to change jaws, or set the chuck on a place that keeps the threads protected and dust free......and, after using them for a few months, they've become a permanent addition to my shop. They're also used for storage of the chucks.

I've got three chucks, so I've made up three of the caddies.

Since you've already got a lathe, you've got all that's necessary to make them up! :cool2:

Ahhhhh, it's those simple things in life, often overlooked, that make the big things more pleasurable......................!
