last time I turned weed pots was back in 2004/5. I took a class with Mark Sfirri at BCCC in Pa.
As a new turner I turned many different pieces that new turners try. I actually learned a lot in
this 16 week program. Very good program for a beginner. Retired now for over 20 years.
Always had a shop at my house and been a member of AAW but not very active in the forums.
Life has slowed down so maybe i'll try to catch up.

Hi everyone,

July has been crazy--that's my vague excuse for being slightly delayed on getting this month's turning challenge posted. Anyway....

This month I want to present something that is wide open to creative exploration, but at the same time not hugely time consuming. The answer: multi-axis weed pots. Weed pots, aka twig pots, aka bud vases, are great ways to utilize small (or large) and/or funky pieces of wood that might otherwise be destined for the firepit.
