I boosted the height of my Problematic in a similar way to Hockenbery's suggestion. It had adjustable feet, but because I wanted it taller, the bolts were extended further than they could tolerate. I used stronger bolts and had a wood foot under each of them.
A hydraulic jack makes it quick and easy, but a guy could use just a lever of some kind (lumber or steel) to lift each end; just have to block it up solidly to safely work under.
