Those of you that have upgraded to the Oneway banjo on your Laguna, did you have to cut your toolrest post length?

Both my original Laguna 6" rest and my Robust 9" J rest bottom out above center.

The Robust is right at center, and the Laguna is about 1/4" above center.
The Robust is their standard 3 5/8" Post Height and 5" Overall height.
Do I need cut my post lengths down or ?

Hi Pete - was the the Oneway banjo MO185 you purchased for your Laguna 1216 a stock item? I saw one website that sells the MO185 mention that it needs to be customized for non-Oneway lathes (they ask for a bunch of measurements). My Laguna banjo is not tightening very well and I need to make a change. Thanks!

I called them and told them what I was putting it on. I believe it is the locking mechanism between the ways that they swap out
