Overbuilt lathe

Our Club is just finishing this one that I think is a little overbuilt also. Fourteen members made various pieces on the project. I made the center hub and spokes for the wheel.

FABULOUS WORK!
That first guy has 2 motorcycles, which means one is a spare. He should hook that up to the lathe and save himself a lot of work. 
Fascinating bit of history, but no, I'll stick with my lathe.
Just needs a motor now, LOL
