Hi everyone. I’m Pete and I live in Austin, TX. I got my first lathe a few months ago and I am hooked. My lathe is a Nova Comet 14 DR and I’m interested in turning bowls, boxes, hollow forms and the like. I’m not looking to join a local chapter for at least another month because I coach my daughter’s kickball team and I don’t have the time. My workshop is about one third of a two car garage. All of my larger tools, like my lathe, are installed on homemade rolling shop furniture. When I get shelf project that I’m working on built and installed I’ll take a photo of my shop.

Howdy from Brenham Pete. Good to see another Texan on the forum.
