Just picked up a book just out that may help turners with their photography. "Photographing Arts, Crafts, & Collectibles". Published this year so it has current info on digital studio photography. Written by Steve Meltzer who writes a monthly column in "Crafts Report" magazine. Looks like it will help me and maybe others too, either new or struggling to get great shots.

Ron I like Steve Meltzer's articles. I take a more low end approach when I teach shooting art work. I just finished an article on how to photogarph really glossy turnings. The file is too big so I'm going to try to size it down but if you don't mind waiting you can download it here.

John,
I didn't time it but it didn't take anytime to download the file on DSL. By the way, you've been holding out on us. :D Thanks for the link to your site. I found a couple other files I've been thinking about lately.
