what format do i need to use when posting pics. thanks for advice on the end grain turning, i will have to give a shot and see what happens.
 
Format? Well, jpg's are a sure bet, gif and png are accepted also.

Understand that the first number is the amount of pixels (dots) in the horizontal plane and the next is the vertical plane.

If you are going to attach it to a message, I would go in the 320-400 horizontal. It gets annoying when too many large sized pictures are attached to a message. IMHO.
