I was asked to post a few pictures of my turkey calls yesterday, so here are a couple that are just finished. I hope the pictures come up. One is walnut and Amboyna burl, and the other one is Plum. The crow calls are made of Amboyna burl, dymond wood, and Bocota.
Thanks,
Jack

Jack,
Very nice pieces! Might want to hone your pictures down to 640 pixels x 480 pixels. I did the same thing first time I posted a picture.

IT is possible to make something too nice to want to take in woods to hunt with. I would be afraid of losing or scratching them. Very nice work

nice work. I hope to be turning a set of Elk calls soon. I ordered them from Woodturningz, but the would get them from HUT. I hope to have them soon as to turn for a gift to the bro-in-law.

Thanks for sharing the pics.

Thanks everyone. I get my reed material for the crow calls from HUT. I order the precut slate from Penn Big Bed Slate Co. 610-767-4601 for my turkey calls. I get my precut glass that I use from:

To answer Angelo's question, if I am lucky I call my turkey DINNER.
