plusses & minuses

Haven't used the liberon
Minus is they give an amber color
Plus is often the amber color warm the look of the wood
All are easy to use an yield good results if you want the change
One caution - some maples may need a sealer coat of thin shellac or thin laquer or you will get a muddy look on the endgrain where the oils darken it more.

I often use Watco as a first coat and then use waterlox for the 2,3,4.... Coats cutting back with scotch Brit in between giving a day for the coats to dry.

Waterlox builds up a lot fast than the Watco.
Watco seems to have. Forever shelf life
Waterlox tend to gel when it knows you are thinking about opening the can
I pour m newly opened waterlox into plastic water bottles. These I squeeze after use with the cap partly on until all the air is out ten tighten the cap.
Seems to give 4-6 months shelf life.

Have fun
Al
