Nope. Someone w experience could I’m sure define the cause.
Start windings burnt and shorted. Centrifugal mechanical mechanism came out with rotor and looked reasonable. Looked no further and reassembled. Centrifugal switch contacts were mounted in the bell end still on the motor.
Your expertise was greatly appreciated.
Motor arrived and being installed today. Can’t wait—I’ve got a bunch of wood to process.
The wait continues—motor defective. Broken casing in transit. New one to be shipped. Another week of waiting.
