I finally have a date for the donations of spin tops and pendants for the Project African Village. The tops and pendants must reach me no later than June 1, 2013.

To those who have already contributed, my many thanks. To date, I have received 168 spin tops and 18 pendants. I have turned nearly 200 myself in the past few weeks. I have surgery scheduled on April 12, so I am pushing myself to turn and decorate at least another 200 before then.

Again, thanks to those who have contributed and also to those who have indicated they will contribute as well.
