Quick Connects on Vacuum System?

I'm doing the plumbing for my vacuum chucking system and I'm tempted to use quick connectors like the ones used for compressed air systems but I'm concerned about whether or not they will introduce leakage to the system. Has anyone had practical experience using these connectors on their vacuum system that could comment on their experiences?

I use one.
Leakage is insignificant

any vacuum system is going to leak some. Almost always pull some air through the wood if nothing else.

If they leak in any noticeable way they're defective. I use them for both pressure and vacuum.

They don’t leak. Pay a few bucks extra for prevost or Milton connectors.
