Hello,
I moved to Gainesville, VA from Roanoke three years ago when I retired from Systems Engineering work.
I inherited a basement wood shop with ShopSmith lathe from the previous owner of the Gainesville house.
Inspired to start wood turning by the passion of local wood turners at the local Catoctin turners group in Leesburg, and the teachers at classes at Woodcraft.
Enjoy going to craft festivals to get ideas.
Starting to experiment combining wood turning with Laser Cutter and CNC machine.
