Replacing the VFD on my lathe...

I just posted a new response to an old thread on Tutorials and Tips about the 3520b. If you are knowledgeable about VFDs I would be grateful if you could have a look at it and help me out.
 
Wade, you might get more participation if you posted a link to the original posting that you refer to. There are lots of articles about 3530b. Go to It and then copy the address at the top of your screen (Right Click and follow prompts or Press and Hold on an iPad and copy). Then paste into this post.

There usually is a hand full of parameters that must be selected and programmed for a basic operation for your machine.
Horsepower, supply voltage, motor voltage, frequency, control options, Input options, etc.
You usually need to install a jumper or two depending on how you control the VFD, follow instructions or watch a few Youtube videos on the VFD you purchased.
 
I didn't even know a VFD had capacitors in it. I thought there were many posts on adding a generic VFD on a 3520. Sure seems like it comes up a lot, did you look at the Doc Green site?
