Anyone have experience with the Clean Air system from Peke?
Also looking at 3M Versaflo and the JSP Power cap. Help me spend my money wisley.
Thanks Bill

I have used the JSP Powercap Active IP Respirator for several years now. When I bought it, a simple compact system was my priority. My thinking was that if it's small and simple to use, I WILL use it. Because of that, I use it and it works well. It really depends on what your main objective(s) are. I will bet that the one you mentioned works very well too. I bought mine from Peke Safety and have had good support from them after the sale.

Thanks John,
Can you get HEPA filters for the power cap?
Thanks Bill

Ditto. I love mine.

Thanks Dave,
Any issues with replacement parts (filters, peel off visor covers)
Thanks Bill
Back when I bought my CleanAir, the head unit was different than the current ones. Mine is a modified Uvex Bionic - same thing I wear for just face shield protection. So I have no issues with replacement lenses.
I've had no issues with obtaining parts - the pre-filters do a pretty good job and I have yet to need to replace the filter. And I usually see the Peke Safety folks at symposiums - they'll be at AAW in Raleigh and at our Rocky Mountain symposium in CO in Sept. So if I ever do have any issues Iknow I can at least talk to a person about it....

Bill,
Good question, that I can't answer. The filters that come with it exceed the requirements for filtering N95 particulates down to .3 microns. I don't know if that meets the HEPA threshold but the Peke Safety folks should know. I just decided that it's "good enough for me". And I made that choice solely on the fact that one of our WW Guild members is a Pulmonologist.
Be well!
John

Just purchased one in January and could not recommend it more! It has saved me from a few sinus infections...

Thanks to all who have replied. Have just placed my order for the Clean Air HEPA system.
Spoke with PEKE earlier today and was informed that they have come out with a charcoal pre filter for the Power cap to help with vapor. Should be hitting their web-site soon.
Thanks Bill
