I basically a new turner of about a year now. Learning the lathe and skills to make and turn bowls and dishes and other projects.
I member of Long Island woodturners association!
with the help of the members of that group though our meeting and mentoring I am enjoying the artist side of my carpentry skills.

It’s mulberry from my daughters yard I have no idea how old it was the tree that is, but I like the look of the wood here a tree I made last winter as one of my first turnings
