Rockwell Delta 46-111 lathe

A friend of mine has a Rockwell Delta 46-111 lathe that he would like to sell.

It apparently has been used very little by himself or the prior owner.

He can provide me with much more information about the lathe as he is the second owner and doesn't know much about the lathe.

Does anyone know answers to the following questions about the lathe>

1) Headstock spindle size
2) Morse taper size
3) Motor RPM
4) estimated value (say for lathe in average condition)

My best friend turned professionally on one of those for many years. It is a good solid lathe. It doesn't have many speed choices and many people add what's called a jack shaft to give you more speed choices. I have plans In a book somewhere if you decide you need that option later

I had a similar lathe in the mid 70s.
Mine required a wrench to rock the tailstock and tool rest.
These can be retrofitted with handled bolts. A good investment.

I would prefer that lathe over any of the 10" minis.
If 10" minis are selling used for $200 in your area, start asking $250-225
There should be enough 10" minis being resold to set a price point.

I would much prefer a jet 1221vs over that machine.

Does it have the cast iron stand? That would be worth more than the lathe. I have bought two other, older, lathes this year for the stands in order to upgrade my favorite lathes.
