Hello everyone! I've been a builder/carpenter, pastor, missionary, and woodworker. A year ago I bought an old Delta 12" lathe at a garage sale, and started learning a whole new way of woodworking. I started out trying to just develop some skills turning things like small cups and wooden spheres. I've progressed some, turning a 22" tall vase from Florida mahogany, a live oak burl in epoxy, a live oak vase, and I've just finished my first "bowl from a board", a 12" bowl made from a 24" morado 1x6.
I see some incredible designs here on the gallery, and hope to learn a lot and get some inspiration from experienced turners.
