Yes......use key words related to the information you're looking for. You'll generally get discussions relating to the key word, although the discussion may not be specifically about the key word.

I've had the best luck searching using Google with this syntax <subject/keywords> site:aawforum.org
Could you give a specific example, I'm not following what you'd type into Google.
Let's say I wanted to know more about what angle to sharpen a bowl gouge.
bowl gouge angle site:aawforum.org that should get you started
You could just start a thread on what you are trying to find. You will not be the first, or last to ask any question....

When you see a thread or post you want to be able to find again later, the bookmsrk function is very handy.
