After 2 years of flawless running, my Robust American Beauty started shutting down erratically. After a few days of trouble shooting with Brent, he deduced it was the inverter. He had me a new one in 3 days with easy instructions to replace the old one. Fired her back up today and working as good as new.
My reason for going with Robust was the reputation for customer service. They proved me correct in my decision.

I agree, Mark. About a year after I purchased my AB, I had a noise that Brent diagnosed as bad bearing in the headstock spindle from the audio file I sent him. He gave instructions on how to dismantle and send in the part so they could install a new bearing. When I received it back, it had been damaged in the mail. One phone call and he had a new one on its way. Great customer service and an awesome lathe I use almost daily.

It is USA made although it probably has globally made parts.
I believe the only items not made in the US are the inverter and the magnets on the back of the remote
