I have a Sierra Mold vacuum chuck on my Poolewood. When it runs over about 250 RPM, the outer bearing race gets almost too hot to touch. I haven't taken it apart yet, but I will when I finish this bowl this afternoon.
Question: Does anyone have experience with the Sierra Mold vacuum chuck, or its bearing? I may have to make a search for a replacement bearing. I think it's Delrin, and based on size, I suspect a good sealed bearing would be pricey, if I can find one. Thanks in advance.
