Skew chisel

@John K Jordan Sorby makes a square bedan . I got just the blade last year but I think it was on Amazon and cannot find now. Hartville tool carries it tho.

The Sorby I bought many years ago is square. However, they might have changed.

Look at the small diagram on this page, it appears the Sorby bedan is now not square, but tapered:

At the NC symposium, after a demo someone asked where to get a :"French" bedan with a square cross section. Laurent Nicolt and he said they are harder to find now and some makers have only the trapazoid shape, perhaps since they are used more for peeling and parting and less for shaping, curves, beads, etc in the French style. He mentioned several suppliers still selling the square bedans but I'll have to check my notes to see if I wrote it down. Could send him an email and ask.
