Some Neat Things That You May Not Know

Here are a few tidbits. Can you find others?

• Click on the location beneath a member's avatar and it will open a new tab with a Google map showing the geographical location.
• Click on a thumbnail in the gallery and it will open up the full size image ... Duh, everybody know that, BUT if you click on the full size image it will be shown in lightbox mode. You will see a triangle shaped arrow on the left and right sides to enable you to scroll thorough images while in lightbox mode.
• Hover over your name in the upper right of any page and you will see a drop down list of useful things where you can change your preferences and quick links to view other information.

You can TAG any other forum member in a post by using the "@" sign and start typing their forum name, get a few letters out and a list of names that fit that user will drop down and click on the name you want. Like

and that user gets an alert (top right of the page) that tells them they were tagged in a message.
This is tougher to do on a touch device, so a mouse comes in handy

If you want to reply with a quote to a specific part of a post, you can highlight it with a mouse and when you stop, a red REPLY tab drops. Click that and that part will be quoted
