Square boxes with flush tilting lids

Does anyone remember who the turner was who created square boxes that had round lids that sat flush with the top surface? The recess for the lid was angled so that when you pressed down on the edge of the lid it would tilt up on the opposite side. I tried searching for the article, but I can't find it...
