Starting to Turn Bowls

I've completed two small bowls so far this week. I'm quite pleased with the results, and humbled by the amount I realize I still need to learn. This is an exciting, and fulfilling, new hobby!

First bowl, completed Monday:

They look pretty good for your first two, Greg. Have you heard of (or joined) the Bucks Woodturners? They meet in the wood shop of BCCC on the 3rd Monday of the month. Close by for you and a great group.

Yep, I'm a member. The first bowl was found buried in a blank I picked up at a Bucks Turners meeting some time last year.
