Hello Steven. Love NH, beautiful staate! (especially the mountains) Maybe not the winters as much, but they seem like a good reason to play indoors!
I've never used a Woodfast lathe but I've heard they have some excellent machines.

Are you a member of a turning club? If not, they are a great path to expanding the mind. Happy impending retirement! (I've been retired for almost 20 years and I'd be lying if I said I didn't love it!) You'll find that a lot of creative and helpful people hang out here.

Thanks! I am a member of the Guild of NH Woodworkers who have a turning group- I intend to ramp up my activity in the Guild and that group will be my first stop. Thanks for encouragement and direction, and if you are in the neighborhood,let me know!
