Stop Loss Bags - One and Done?

Are the Stop Loss Bags a throw away item after one use, or, can they be flushed with the appropriate solvent and reused? Thanks.

I’ve been reusing with Watco for a few years, just refill when empty.

That's what I do, as well as clean up the spout and cap. I fill them with mw poly.

I haven’t bothered to clean other than around spout. Maybe next time I’ll splash some mineral spirits in if I remember. Hasn’t been an issue in the past.

Been using them for a couple of years. Have reused them after rinsing with mineral spirit, with no problems. great product.

Like the others I just refill and go on, cleaning any hardened finish but not otherwise cleaning or rinsing.

The two finishes I use these days are very high viscosity, think pudding. The idea of the stop loss bag is appealing, but I wonder if one could fill the bag with something pudding thick?

I used to get big toothpaste-like tubes at the camping store for stuff like peanut butter. They opened at the bottom so you could fill them and you slid a split tube over the doubled-up end to seal them. I imagine they would work fine for a thick finish.
