Has anyone ever turned anything out of stripped maple? I believe it is an invasive species and I haven't seen any big trees of it yet/ I don't even know if it gets big. I do know it produces a whole lot of seeds without being very big. One plant ID app I have says it is native to the North East US, but I had heard it is an invasive species. Any thoughts?
 
I found it interesting that striped maple had many medical uses and was used for arrow shafts by native Americans. Also it provides food for lots of wildlife. But it is classified as a shrub, but has no mention of being an invasive plant that I read.
