Need 1 1/4 X 8 threading.
You might want to say that you are looking for the NovaTitan III.
Are the jaws compatible with Nova 3?
The G3 jaws work on the Titan, but the big Titan jaws don’t work on the G3 or Supernova.
the anniversary edition of the Supernova does have direct 1 1/4x8 threads. That might be a way to go.

Hoping someone might have a supernova 2 with 1 1/4 X 8TPI...otherwise...gulp....will buy a new one! 
Just go all in and get the Titan for around $250.
@Claudio Feler , I just got my Rockler flyer. The SN2 is on sale for $120. Insert is extra. Sale runs Nov 23 to 30.

I got that flyer, missed the SN2 chuck initially (well, until you posted those pics, Mark!)
Note that an Insert required with this chuck.
I think I am doing a direct threaded Titan with 5” jaws. Good match for my 16” swing over.
There are 2 fairly new jaw sets for the Titan III that are sweet.
The Titan with 6 1/2” jaws are definitely on my wishlist.
The titan is a very hefty chunk of steel. It might be more than your lathe motor wants to spin. You can do nearly everything a 16" lathe will do with a Supernova. Coring would be one situation where the big chuck/big jaws might be helpful. I have a Titan and a 20" Powermatic, and use the big chuck mainly for 18" octagon blanks. (Using the smaller chuck helps me keep my bowl bottoms small, as I have a tendency to let them get too big)
Well, I just scored a titan 3 with 5” jaws new for $209. Happy.
Nice. I just looked around and there are several sites at the ~$200 price. That is a nice discount from where it was just a week ago. I might need to sell a few bowls and order one.
Did you get that Titan chuck yet? I still don't know if I am trying to talk myself into our out of buying one.
Jason, I sure did! It’s very nice. Much more substantial than my Nova 3. Uses all my Nova 3 attachments. I will probably sell the Nova. Thanks for asking.
