Hillard was a friend of my parents, and quite a character. I suspect he would loved to have been at the Symposium, being so close to home.

Thanks for the posting, but SWMBO has a question.

The photo of the lady with the lace bobbins and pillow (#11)

Was it a display of her bobbins, or was she doing lace?

I got into wood-turning, simply to make bobbins for SWMBO, haven't made many, but I have done a lot of other turning

The lady with the lace bobbins was the maker of those turnings, and was in the process of filling out paperwork to display them in the instant gallery.
