I bought an insert to allow me use my G3 chuck on my new lathe that has a 1 1/4" x 8TPI spindle. BusyBee is the only retailer I could find in my area that sells Nova, and they are clearing out stock and not carrying their products anymore. I was lucky (I thought) to find the last 1 1/4"x8TPI insert and I went home and tried to install it to find that my lathe spindle thread didnt fit the thread of the insert. I didnt know at the time of purchase, but there are different letter designations for the inserts that correspond to different lathe manufacuters etc. I contacted Nova to find out what letter insert I would need and where I could get it - long story short, they are sending me a new insert in the mail free of charge.

Greg,
I had a similar problem with my super nova chuck and wrote the company and they were jhonny -on-the-spot with helping me out.
I talked to a tech and he understood what I was having problems with, sent me what I needed the next day- I couldn't have been happier.
They are one of the best backing companies I have ever delt with. Gary
