I wanted to tell everyone how much being recognized for a bowl I posted earlier in September; my "walnut experiment". I am relatively new to turning (about 3 years) and only recently acquired a full-size lathe. I tend toward smaller bowls but have ventured into larger ones as I have acquired some large blanks and chunks. I get a lot of satisfaction from turning a bowl that I think either is unique or is close to what I intended. Getting recognized by an online site that has so many incredible posted turnings and so many excellent and experienced turners is really nice and makes me feel I'm getting better. So, thanks again.
