Hello, I'm happy to call myself a new member of this forum. I've got a keen interest in learning and sharing techniques.

I'm living in North Western Spain at the moment and have a small shop and store where I sell my work. Here there is a somewhat important wood turning culture and I'm very pleased to have met some of the local skilled Turner's.

I've got a machinist background and am the son of a laminated bowl maker, however at the moment am learning the art of green wood turning and have two fridge kilns that are just about operational I hope to learn more about those as well.

Interestingly enough I'm from a place called Greenwood, Nova Scotia. In Canada.

Hi Gerald, thanks for the greeting!
Ithink once I get the kiln working properly I could share my experience. It seems like the members here already have the processes down by heart hehe.

Probably if I learn something interesting by experience and if it's not already here I'll contribute. Right now I'm experimenting with both kiln and air drying methods.

Would love to know more about how to fill voids incase any of them open up on me.
