I make it a point to tighten the set screw to secure the chuck to the headstock. I was finishing a cross for my Easter display when I noticed the chuck moved a bit. The set screw to secure the chuck to the adapter wasn't tight. Now I plan on making a point to check and tighten both set screws. Can't be too careful these days.
