Hello. My name is Tim Hunter. Dad was a cabinet builder, so I grew up in his shop and built cabinets through college. I've worked as a mechanical engineer for 35 years. I began turning almost 50 years ago. I especially like to turn bowls. I currently have two wood lathes - a 12" Delta HD and a 30" New Haven. I also have a custom made ellipse machine that made many years ago - I'm a big fan of elliptical things. I am also an active participant on the Old Wood Working Machine forum (OWWM.org). If any of you ever venture over there, I'm discoverable as TimD2lman.
