I’ll take it. Will it work with a Jet 1642 as is, or does it need a new post?
The 1 " diameter is right, if anything the post could be too long. Mine was sized for a Robust.
Measure your post length, or more importantly, you do not want it to exceed the depth to the bed or it would limit the travel.
