I watched two videos on turning small crosses by Mike Peace and Dean's Woodworking. Mike uses a big furniture clamp which I don't have. I tried two but had the bandsaw score the cross piece. Save for home decor. What to do? With a bit of imagination, these photos show what I made. L-shaped part is from something that required two holes. The other is a piece of oak stair tread with a notch. I stacked the two and use a piece of plastic and screws to hold them together. I place the cross on the bottom and clamp the top with hand pressure. The distance allows the blade to cut the sides to form the cross piece of the cross.
