Turned wood boxes inside finish?

Pondering this for a few days, I guess if I wanted felt on the inside of a box, I would glue some pool table felt to the bottom. Since I use Barge cement, I would guess that the smell would never go away....

never use a solvent based finish as it takes many years to get rid of the smell. I found that out the hard way!

This is my experience as well. I like to use shellac in enclosed boxes for this reason.
