Turning a Twisted, Segmented Flag

Here's a writeup to give some background on how I have been able to create curved segmented patterns that are continuous over multiple segments. The attached file describes the process for the 'Twisted Segmented Flags' image I uploaded recently.

Bill, the background grid was drawn using Excel spreadsheet software. The design pattern was drawn free-hand.

Joe, sorry for the slow response. Yes, I used three centers, offset by 120 degrees, to generate the twist. You can get more information on my website at 'horais.com'
