The second link you posted didn't work. Is Woodturns.com no longer a valid website?
The first one is excellent and is the one I referred to in my first post.
The Yahoo group looks like it might have some good info, but how would I search for a comprehensive instruction/techniques discussion there? Do you remember a particular discussion online there?
I'm trying to research the info and compile it enough so that I can give it to someone without Internet Access.

I belong to the yahoo group and turn alabaster. A nice group of folk who'll be happy to answer any of your questions. Also, the files section and some of the other links on the group's home page will take you to tutorials and other information. Feel free to let me know if I can be of further assistance.
