Turning of the Week for April 10, 2023

It's always fun to look through the galleries to select the TOTW. I look for a good picture: a clear or gradient background is a must. A cluttered shop in the back or your living room is not an appealing picture. This week's honor goes to Thomas Scurto Davis and his amazing piece called "Patient Practice." I'll encourage him to keep exploring this technique. If this is not a finished piece, I can't wait to see one that he calls it complete! Congratulations Thomas.

I agree. Even better if the photo didn't make it look like the Leaning Tower of Pisa!

Doesn't appear to have much holding it together, so it may indeed lean a little. I'm looking at that noticeable gap on the left side, just under the red circle....

Good Eye Odie, there is about a 280 degree gap at one point (behind the circle). Part of the reason for the name. This was an experiment to see how far I could push process and still have a standing piece.
