There have been many great pieces posted to the gallery recently, but the Basket Illusion Platter by Ethan Hoff is a stand out. The deceptively complex interlaced pattern, bold red and black color scheme, and 11.5” diameter combine to create an eye-catching statement piece. The planning and patience needed to successfully execute a piece like as this is commendable. I also appreciate the nod to Harvey Meyer’s work and influence. Well done, Ethan!
