Christine Smith's "Bird's Eye Balance'" is a wonderful combination of turning, carving, and painting skills. The symmetry of wood choice, combined with the carved birds in a great showcase for the talent and design of this entire piece. I love everything about this box and am pleased to select this as my choice for TOTW for February 7, 2022
