Turning of the Week for July 21st, 2025

My choice for TOTW for July 21st, 2025 is “NE Red Oak II” by James Seyfried.

Jim always does exceptional work. No matter if it is a bowl, platter, hollow form, box, or one of his beautiful ornaments - they are always well designed and finished. However, I think his natural edged bowls with carved feet are my favorites … and this one may be my favorite of all – even though it is red oak! A very sweet form and perfectly sized feet (imho) to elevate this beautiful bowl. Nice photo too.
