Turning of the Week for June 24, 2024

My choice for TOTW for June 24, 2024 is "Plum Blossom” by Rabea Gebler.
I love everything about this turned and carved Horse Chestnut bowl by Rabea. A beautiful form with tasteful carving of the five petals leading up to the scalloped rim. The circular carved texture accentuates and complements the shape of the petals. I think this piece really needs to be held to be appreciated. Nice photo too!
