There have been numerous excellent works posted to the gallery recently. I thought I had my selection picked out on Saturday, but when I saw these Painted Salad Bowls by Kalia Kliban. I was immediately drawn to them. This morning I have found myself going back to them several times. The image of stacked bowls is quintessential to what we do, and I can’t help but find comfort in it. I love the textures Kalia used on these, and the bold colors remind me of vintage Fiestaware.

Nice choice. These are beautiful bowls. Kalia's work is always so stylish and clean. Her photographs equally so.

Great bowls Kalia and nice choice Kevin. Milk paint has never looked so good. The textures are nice as is the final sheen these bowls exhibit. The sneaky “rubbed” through coloring at the edges makes them look well used and polished from years of use. Folk Art like Donna says; so well done!!
